This ONE thing helps my clients make sales online. It's not what you think.

👉🏻 If you’ve been posting consistently but still struggling to stand out online, it’s not because you need more trends, it’s because your audience hasn’t met the real you yet.

Every female founder has a selling superpower.

But I'm going to let you in on a secret: it’s not your product, pricing, or strategy.

It’s actually much easier than all of that.

In an era of online facades, cloned aesthetics, and template captions pasted from AI chatbots, what actually converts is the one thing no competitor (or computer!) can copy: your lived experience and how you express it.

Showing up confidently online starts with an authentic marketing strategy that centres personal branding; using your own stories, values, and humour to build a brand that stands out. Whether you’re a small business selling homemade products or digital services, or a female founder with your own wellness brand, the goal is simple: let your personality lead, and your ideal clients will follow.

Why authenticity in marketing works (and personality converts) 😎

I know that authenticity is an overused buzzword online, but stick with me here.

What it essentially means, and what I mean when I say it, is this: allowing yourself to be the version of you that your childhood self would look up to and think "we made it"

I think that we grow up and lose our childlike playfulness, that little bit of quirk and fun that makes life feel magic. Because most people show up online thinking they need to perform a version of themselves that’s polished, "professional" or safe.

But the content that sells often has:

  • your tone

  • your humour

  • your quirks

That's your true personality, and that's the stuff that makes people go "I want a bit of what she's got!"

This doesn't mean having no strategy and showing up online making random statements that "feel right" every day, nor does it mean deleting your calendar and scheduled content in favour of winging it and just being you. No.

🥳 It means that strategy + plan + your uniqueness = success.

A detailed strategy and polished schedule without adding your own sprinkle of glitter will fall flat.

Because in marketing, your personality delivers three things every buyer needs before they click:

  • Familiarity: customers buy from brands that are human-centred.

  • Trust: personality-driven content builds a solid relationship with your audience because they feel connected to you.

  • Differentiation: in saturated markets, being yourself is the easiest way to stand out and capture attention.

“Strategy gets you seen. Personality gets you chosen.”

Remember: you’re not trying to appeal to everyone, you’re trying to magnetise the people who see your content and think: finally, someone who gets it.

How to turn your personality into a selling superpower ✨

The brands winning online aren’t winning because they have the lowest prices. They’re winning because they’ve built a personality people trust: designers who share the behind-the-scenes process, coaches who show their real life struggles, artists who reveal their messy drafts.

Your clients don't see your Notion strategy, Google calendar, or email analytics, they see your presence. This is the most important component to selling.

Here's how you can start showing up as YOU online:

  1. Share the story behind your work. Say why you built your brand, share what market-gap you wanted to fill, or tell a story of how you've progressed. Storytelling keeps people on the page longer, but more importantly, it builds emotional connection.

  2. Use your natural, unfiltered voice. Don't write "5 wellness tips for menstruating women", instead say "here's what stopped me from wanting to rip my womb out". It's okay to write how you speak. Think less corporate brochure, and more, text to a close friend.

  3. Show your face or presence. A human-led brand increases engagement and watch-time. Try thinking of talking to the camera as though you're FaceTiming your bestie. If this is too much, start with static photos. We just want to see you.

  4. Lean into what makes you unique. It's easy to be a carbon-copy, I've seen SO many female CEO's photographed in a pink blazer with a white background. That's okay if it feels right, but ask yourself: are you doing that because you think you should or because it's really YOU?

“Your selling superpower is the part of you that no one else can copy.”

Unlocking your selling superpower can feel icky: the stiff smile you practised in the mirror before filming, stumbling on your words every 2 seconds when trying to upload a story, the captions you rewrote twelve times because you weren’t sure, or the outfit changes because you want to look presentable.

It is embarrassing.It is awkward.

👉🏻 That’s why I’m here to help you.
